Titina Maselli

Querini Stampalia presents a retrospective of Titina Maselli (Rome, 1924-2005), curated by Chiara Bertola, from the period that runs from the 2nd of December to the 5th of March 2017.

She was an elegant, eclectic woman, one of the most original Italian artists. Her works which remained unknown for many years and was all but ignored by the critics, are the reflection of her spirit.

Whenever she was asked what art was, she would reply: “The only justification”.
