“Lion of God,” curated by Udo Kittelmann, is Ford’s first solo exhibition in Italy. It features a series of monumental watercolor paintings that delve into the historical, biological, and environmental significance of the subjects found in the library’s collection. The primary focus is on the figure of the lion in Tintoretto’s “Apparizione della Vergine a San Girolamo,” which remains on public display for the duration of the exhibition.
