Was. Is. Will Be. 40 Years Of Gallery

Dorothea van der Koelen was only 19 years old when she opened her gallery in Mainz in 1979. The exhibition in the Venice outpost of the gallery takes visitors into a journey through 40 years of career, collaborations with artists, exhibitions and memories: the establishment of the “Chorus-Verlag” publishing house (1995), the opening of “La Galleria” in Venice in 2001, the foundation of the “Van der Koelen Foundation for Art and Science” in 2003 and the inauguration of the “CADORO” (Centre for Art and Science) 2014 in Mainz.
