A solo exhibition of work by Živa Kraus at marina bastianello to accompany the 59th Venice Biennale.

A careful selection of thirty works created with different techniques, including paintings, drawings and pastels, charcoal and the video ‘The Motovun Tape‘ made in 1976 will also be exhibited. Živa, in Croatian has two meanings, the first is that of “life”, the other is “mercury”, which share the characteristics of movement and speed. The exhibition is conceived as a chromatic dance, an elegant intertwining of shapes and colours. As embodied in its very name, vitality will be the distinctive note of the whole exhibition.
