Aldo Mondino: Viaggi straordinari

The setting of Villa Bertelli at Forte dei Marmi hosts the retrospective dedicated to Aldo Mondino, curated by Valeria Dehò, in collaboration with the Archivio Aldo Mondino. The exhibition gathers more than forty works by the Italian artist, among sculptures, paintings and paper works, on loan from a Tuscan private collection.

The exhibition path retraces Mondino’s “extraordinary journeys”, such as the ones in the African continent and throughout the Mediterranean area, also investigating the artistic exchanges with abstract art and the influences from Jim Dine, Alberto Giacometti and Umberto Boccioni’s work.
