Camille Henrot: If Wishes Were Horses

This is the first institutional show by Camille Henrot in Austria and it features the whole new body of work produced specifically for the occasion.
The exhibition aims to suggest how imagination, creativity and fantasy can offer hope and the possibility for change.

The different artworks that occupy the exhibition spaces create a sort of choreography and comprehensive dialogue, drawing upon formal structures and raising questions that derive from Henrot’s greater investigation on the human propensity toward dependency.

Camille Henrot is born in 1978 and currently lives and works in Paris and New York. In Autumn 2017 she will have a carte blanche across the entire Palais de Tokyo.
