Sarah Morris: Falls Never Breaks

Sarah Morris presents her new work commissioned by Louis Vuitton Foundation, “Strange Magic” a film which deals with the empire of LVMH, one of the leaders of the luxury industry.

The film showcases the concept of luxury and desire, taking about fashion, perfume, jewelry. In this new work, Sarah gives her impressions of the fabrication of cultural capital in the form of luxury goods. She documents the mechanisms of commercial desire production but, at the same time, she criticizes them in this apparent affirmation.
