Christian Herdeg: Lyrical Minimalism

Museum Haus Konstruktiv, Selnaustrasse 25, 8001 Zürich, Switzerland

Museum Haus Konstruktiv “Lyrical Minimalism” by Christian Herdeg, one of the first Swiss artists to have used fluorescent tubes: the relationships between light, color, surface, volume and space are central to Herdeg’s artistic research, whereby his light installations show signs of an increasing tendency toward formal reduction and clear references to Minimal Art.

The exhibition is accompanied by a comprehensive monograph published by Wienand Verlag, Cologne, which includes articles by Deborah Keller, Daniel Morgenthaler, Sabine Schaschl, and Yvonne Ziegler (in German and English). Available in the museum’s shop.
