Collection on Display: Communities, Rules and Rituals
Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst presents the exhibition in three parts “Collection on Display: Communities, Rules and Rituals”, curated by Nadia Schneider Willen: featuring well known and unreleased works from the collection of the Museum, the first exhibition deals with the theme of communities as social groups defining themselves by views and values, meanwhile the following two exhibitions revolve around rules (or “social norms”) and rituals as fundamental bases for the operation of the communities, promoting “security” and “sense of unity”.
