Ernst Ludwig Kirchner: Vibrant Metropolis / Idyllic Nature

Kunsthaus Zurich showcases a great exhibition by the renowned master of Expressionism Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, and entitled “Vibrant Metropolis / Idyllic Nature, Kirchner – The Berlin Years“, the show is composed by more than 160 works of art and focusses on the dichotomy between the artist’s his twin lives in the bustling capital city and on the tranquil Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn, where he used to spend the holidays.
