The presentation dedicated to Georges Vantongerloo celebrates the career of the 20th-century Belgian Master. Curated by Dr Angela Thomas Schmid, President of the Max Bill Georges Vantongerloo Stiftung, the exhibition is an investigation of Vantongerloo’s fifty-year career through a selection of rarely-seen-before works in Hauser & Wirth’s new space at Rämistrasse 16. “Georges Vantongerloo. A Pioneer of Modern Art” is completed by an exhibition of archival materials and books at Hauser & Wirth Publishers’ headquarters at Rämistrasse 5.
