Made in Zürich

The exhibition “Made in Zürich” gathers pieces by a selection of artists born in Zurich or working mainly in this city. They raise questions about the geographical influence over an artist’s practice through very different media. For some of them, the show also represents a revival of the iconic exhibition “Freie Sicht aufs Mittelmeer“ curated by Bice Curiger in 1998 at the Kunsthaus Zurich, a major survey about the young Swiss artistic scene at the turn of the century. “Made in Zürich” brings them together with the millennium generation of artists from the last 15 years, putting on stage an unprecedented creative dialogue.
