Marc Bauer: Project on the occasion of the Prix Meret Oppenheim 2020

The solo presentation by Swiss artist Marc Bauer at Galerie Peter Kilchmann, Zürich, celebrates his winning of the important Swiss art award Prix Meret Oppenheim 2020. The exhibition features five oil paintings on canvas  and a new monumental wall painting.

Bauer works mainly with drawing, creating series of works joined by narrative threads which easily unravel thanks to his precise drawing style. The resulting mosaic-like colourful images investigate key cultural and historical developments, and collective, social and political topics.
