Sabbatical

With this letter, Bob van Orsouw decided to explain the reason of this new exhibition.

Dear Friends

I am reaching for the stars – NOW!

After 28, highly successful years of Galerie Bob van Orsouw I have decided to fulfil my dream and will take a sabbatical.

“Passion Provokes Continuity!” Motivated by my fervour and delight for art I was able, and privileged, to actively help shape the current artistic landscape. Thus, after 4×7 highly enthusiastic years, I am now allowing myself a “break”. With pride and joy I look back on what has been and was achieved, simultaneously giving way to freedom for new and exciting things to come!

Together and through the help of my wonderfully supportive team I was able to work with many great artists, jointly creating magnificent things. These artists and their works created an inspiring artistic cosmos for you, for me, for us all! I was blessed that no day was like the last, and was able to build up a lively and inspiring international network that I will continue to uphold.

It is you, part of this world that came to be, that I would like to sincerely thank; for your interest in the gallery and its artists! With great gratitude I say “so long”, for now, and be prepared to be surprised!

The gallery will thus temporarily put its daily activities on hold come the new season, I will, however, remain in the Löwenbräu and at all times reachable, whether it be via email, telephone or upon appointment. I already now greatly look forward to hearing from you.
