Sarah Slappey: Tenderizer

The exhibition “Tenderizer” features new paintings by Sarah Slappey. In this presentation, the painter further investigates the motive of the body, dismantling the sublime idea of it in art. Slappey creates instead corporal landscapes which invite viewers to participate in the representation. The exhibition gathers seven new large-scale paintings, surreal compositions defying humorously the traditional gaze on the female body in art.
