				Scalable Skeletal Escalator
The experimental project invites visitors to rediscover the human body and its senses
Kunsthalle Zürich, Limmatstrasse 270, 8005 Zürich, Switzerland
The exhibition at Kunsthalle Zürich is an experimental and ongoing project by artist Isabel Lewis, conceived as a multi-organismic assemblage, inspired by the nature of the human body. “Scalable Skeletal Escalator” defies the materialism rooted in the Western culture, to invite visitors to actively rediscover the human body and its senses. All the project is inspired by the theories of the evolutionary biologist Dr Lynn Margulison cooperative and symbiotic relationships between species as the driving force of evolution.
