Take a Holiday!

On the occasion of the anniversary “100 Years of Swiss Tourism Marketing”, the Museum für Gestaltung uses graphic design masterpieces to review the history of advertising the country’s charms. In this exhibition, curated by Christian Brändle and Bettina Richter, early masterpieces by Burkhard Mangold encounter poster classics by Otto Baumberger or Donald Brun. While with their entirely new aesthetic the daring photomontages by Herbert Matter or Walter Herdeg mark a further milestone.
