ARCOmadrid

ARCOmadrid, International Contemporary Art Fair, runs during the last week of February at Feria de Madrid. The fair, which stands for its Latin American perspective, features a selection of national and international galleries, under the General Programme as well as in several curated sections.

The fair is organised by IFEMA and run by Fundación ARCO, established in 1987 to promote the collecting, research, and dissemination of contemporary art. Promoted by IFEMA, the foundation is joined by institutional partners such as Ayuntamiento de Madrid, Comunidad de Madrid, Fundación Montemadrid and Cámara de Comercio de Madrid and it is a structure that complements the informative nature of the International Fair of Contemporary Art, ARCOmadrid and by extension ARCOlisboa, encouraging the collecting of contemporary art and boosting the market in the context of the fair.
