Launched in 2013, the fair is the most important market event in the Asian region.

The South-Asian brach of Art Basel, the world’s premier art show for Modern and contemporary art. Inaugurated in 2013, Art Basel Hong Kong show attracts over 60,000 visitors at the Convention & Exhibition Centre to explore artworks by leading international galleries. During the 2015 Art Basel in Hong Kong show, Art Basel and BMW present the first iteration of the BMW Art Journey, a joint initiative to recognize and support emerging artists worldwide.
