Gallery Weekend Berlin

Directed by Maike Cruse, the Gallery Weekend Berlin is a yearly spring appointment that takes over all major institutions, museums and galleries in Berlin with a wide programme of exhibitions and activities. For three days around 50 galleries throughout Berlin open their doors, presenting emerging and established artists with a focus on contemporary art. The event has established itself as a leading German art event for contemporary art. On the Gallery Weekend up to 20,000 visitors from all over the world come to Berlin to experience the capital’s creative scene.
