Art Basel Messeplatz Project 2025

Renowned artist Katharina Grosse takes over Messeplatz and surrounding structures with a monumental chromatic intervention using her signature spray gun. Curated by Natalia Grabowska, Curator at Large for Architecture and Site-Specific Projects at Serpentine London, the project transforms public space into a dynamic, color-soaked environment that disrupts perception and reframes everyday surroundings.
