Curated for the second time by Stefanie Hessler, Director of the Swiss Institute in New York, Parcours activates public space under the theme Second Nature, examining the blurred lines between natural and artificial worlds. Over 20 site-specific installations span Clarastrasse to the Rhine, including the former Hotel Merian and Münsterplatz. Highlights include Hylozoic/Desires’ 80-meter textile namak halal / namak haram, Selma Selman’s salvaged car hood installation at St. Clara Church, and Yu Ji’s daily bread rituals at Rheinfelderhof. Parcours transforms Basel’s urban fabric into a living exhibition that questions habit, perception, and ecology.
