Liste 2017

Warteck Building, Burgweg 15

Since its inception in 1996, LISTE has developed into one of the most important fairs for mostly new, but also to some extent a middle generation of galleries.
LISTE focuses on introducing young galleries with primarily emerging, as yet little known artists. Each year, approximately 80 galleries from over 30 countries are presented – of those, 10 – 15 galleries are introduced for the first time. LISTE’s mission is to promote these new galleries and introduce them to an international expert public.

Performance Project 2017

The Performance Project has been a permanent, autonomous part of LISTE – Art Fair Basel since 2005. Curators are invited to develop a contemporary performance project with young, highly promising performance artists and to present current trends in performance art. By supporting the Performance Project, LISTE underlines its commitment to promoting emerging, upcoming talent (curators, artists) and to offering a platform for this artistic genre that is not yet well established.
