Art Basel Unlimited 2025
Curated by Giovanni Carmine, Director of Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen, Unlimited features 67 large-scale installations that transcend traditional art fair formats. Highlights include Andrea Büttner’s expanded Shame Punishments, Caroline Achaintre’s persona-like textile work Gobbler, Cosima von Bonin’s velvet Daffy Duck motifs, and Felix Gonzalez-Torres’ iconic go-go dancing platform. Martin Kippenberger’s METRO-Net subway illusion and Atelier Van Lieshout’s surreal The Voyage – A March to Utopia further stretch boundaries. Unlimited Night on Thursday, June 19, allows visitors to experience the works with extended hours and live performances.
