March Meeting 2015
Sharjah Art Foundation (United Arab Emirates, UAE) organizes the eight annual March Meeting, a six-day symposium featuring presentations by artists, art professionals and institutions on the production and dissemination of art in the MENASA (Middle East, North Africa, South Asia) region and internationally. Launched in 2008, the Meeting was conceived as a forum to encourage regional art professionals to connect, to share ideas and expertise, to network and form partnerships for future projects.
A vital component of Sharjah Art Foundation‘s annual programming, March Meeting examines several pertinent issues in contemporary culture, addressing institutional formation, exhibitions, and artistic production as well as consideration of how to develop education and research initiatives.
March Meeting 2015 takes place May 11-16 and is organized by Kristine Khouri, Rasha Salti, Ayreen Anastas, Rene Gabri and Eric Baudelaire.
