Frieze London 2018

Regent's Park, Regent's Park

Frieze London is in Regent’s Park from 5–7 October for its sixteenth edition (Preview Days 3-4 October). Once again Frieze London 2018 showcases the best of international contemporary art. New collaborations with international curators, institutions and galleries respond to contemporary issues – from the lack of female representation in the art market to hidden communication and control systems.

A new section, Social Work, celebrates artists who challenged the male-dominated art market of the 1980s. The section includes both well-known and overlooked female artists, who address questions of identity, labour and visibility in their work.

Focus, the fair’s celebrated section which brings together the participation of 33 young galleries from Cape Town to Los Angeles, from Mumbai to Paris to Hong Kong.

The Frieze Film programme questions systems that control and influence the dissemination of information.

Frieze Artist Award will focus on performance-based work and the winning artist will receive a residency at Delfina Foundation, London.

Live is a platform for interactive installations and performances, presented in collaboration with galleries throughout the fair.

Frieze Talks takes place daily in the fair’s auditorium, exploring the role played by autobiography in art and society, at a time when personal experience is increasingly being made public and also under renewed scrutiny.

Frieze London is located in the south of The Regent’s Park, with the entrance off Park Square West.
