Prizm Art Fair 2019

Prizm provides a cultural platform for the promotion of cutting edge works by contemporary artists from Africa and global African Diaspora. In this sense, a complete programme of workshops and social events are organised throughout the year, to facilitate the critical dialogue around these themes. Prizm Art Fair 2019 opens December 2 – 8, during Art Basel/Miami Beach, exhibiting varied artists to highlight the diversity in visual art practices today, along with emerging Miami-based contemporary artists.

The 2019 curatorial focus is “Love in the Time of Hysteria”, illustrating how love, compassion, and respect still endure in a context of social injustices, racial prejudices, and divisive political rhetoric.
