Pulse Miami Beach 2017

Housed within two spacious pavilions on the beach, PULSE Contemporary Art Fair acts as a platform connecting emerging and established galleries with a global audience. Its sectors provide an opportunity to discover the most relevant art being produced today.
The fair, now in its 13th edition, welcomes over 70 galleries from 5 continents.

PPROJECTS
This sector presents large-scale sculptures, installations and performances. This year’s PROJECTS Special Commission is Hector Arce-Espasas’s “Ode to Paradise (Dancers)”, a series of iconic ceramics positioned throughout a new site specific environment created specifically for PULSE.

PERSPECTIVES
Addresses themes and issues within the contemporary art market.

PLAY
This sector is a showcase for video and new media, serving as a platform to encourage discovery within the digital realm. This year Jasmine Wahi and Rebecca Pauline Jampol, curators and co-founders of New York’s Project for Empty Space, have selected nine artists to present at PLAY.
