miart 2016

The 21st edition of miart will take place in Milan from the 8th to the 10th of April, 2016.

miart is a fair in which modern and contemporary art communicate constant references with explicit echoes; it affords a situation to grasp links between the past and present. It will emphasize this aspect aspiring to work on the possibility of testing institutional strategies that differ from existing models, the aim being to set out along a path in which miart plays an active role in modern and contemporary production throughout the entire year, not just during the days of the art fair.

It was announced on the 26th of January that miart 2016 sections, chosen by Vincenzo de Bellis will be: Established, THENnow, Emergent, Object.
