Manifesta 12: Garden of Flows

“Garden of Flows” section explores toxicity, plant life and the culture of gardening in relation to the transnational commons.
Specifically, it brings to the fore the following question: how to tend to a world that is moved by invisible informational networks, transnational private interests, algorithmic intelligence, environmental processes and ever-increasing inequalities? Participants in this section present works that look at the city of Palermo as a garden, exploring its capacity to compose life out of movement and migration.
