Art Basel in Paris: Public Programme 2024

Art Basel presents Miu Miu as the Public Program Official Partner. As part of this collaboration, Miu Miu will unveil a special project titled “Tales & Tellers” at the Palais d’Iéna, the headquarters of France’s Economic, Social, and Environmental Council.

The project has been conceived by interdisciplinary artist Goshka Macuga and is convened by Elvira Dyangani Ose, director of MACBA, Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona. ‘Tales & Tellers’ draws inspiration from two major creative initiatives by Miu Miu: the renowned bi-annual film series “Women’s Tales”, which since 2011 has invited female filmmakers such as Mati Diop, Miranda July, and Agnès Varda to explore themes of vanity and womanhood, and the artistic interventions showcased during Miu Miu’s runway shows since Spring/Summer 2022, featuring time-based media works by artists like Sophia Al-Maria, Cécile B. Evans, and Jeong Geum-hyung.
