Asia NOW 2026

Founded in 2014, Asia NOW presents contemporary art from Asia and its diasporas, featuring galleries, artists, curators and cultural practitioners from across the region and beyond. The fair approaches Asia as a diverse and evolving cultural landscape, bringing different geographies, practices and perspectives into dialogue. For its 12th edition, the fair returns to La Monnaie de Paris with new and returning galleries, an expanded public programme, and a curatorial focus on "sentimental value" – the accumulation of meaning through attachment, exchange, and memory.

The Third Space

Launched in 2025, The Third Space extends the fair beyond the traditional booth format, presenting installations, moving-image works and visual art throughout the Monnaie de Paris’ corridors, vestibules, and other spaces. Fourteen presentations feature in the 2026 edition, including projects by Danfe Arts, HATCH, Salon 94, VER Gallery, Strangers House, Artenae, 125 Projects, and Sans Titre.

New Voices

For this edition, Asia NOW launches New Voices, a programme dedicated to emerging curators and collectives across Asia and its diasporas. The programme features collectives through portraits, conversations and presentations of artists and projects, with content extending online beyond the fair.

Public Programme

The Asia NOW public programme brings together projects spanning contemporary art, craft, architecture, moving image and performance. The 2026 programme includes a special project marking the 10th anniversary of the Kalhath Institute, a cinema programme curated by Stefano Rabolli Pansera, a second cinema programme by NOWNESS, and the project “Tables Around: Perspectives on the Saudi Scene," presented by Villa Hegra.
