DAMA 2019

Palazzo Coardi, Via Maria Vittoria 26

Founded in 2016 as an independent and collaborative project, DAMA is reaching its new edition and it does into the historical halls of two 1700’s venues in the center of the city: Palazzo Coardi di Carpeneto in Via Maria Vittoria 26, next to Piazza Carlina, and Palazzo Birago di Borgaro, headquarter of Camera di Commercio di Torino, in Via Carlo Alberto 16, just a few minutes by walk from the main venue of DAMA.

The 2019 edition, titled “Change“, welcomes 11 international galleries to present 11 emerging artists with site-specific artworks in full dialogue with the rooms, distributed on approximately 500 square meters and characterized by baroque atmospheres and original frescoes by Domenico Guidobono.
Highlights of this edition include the Live Programme curated by Elise Lammer, (curator at SALTS, Basel) who invited artists Bekim Sébastien Krivaqa, Lonely Boys, Caroline Mesquita, Adrian Piper, and Dorian Sari to present their video and performance works.
