Flashback Habitat is a large cultural hub that, under the artistic direction of Alessandro Bulgini, triggers a process of urban renewal in Borgo Crimea. The aim is to regenerate more than 20,000 square metres of space, focusing on the ability to look at what already exists, at what has been neglected in order to reaffirm its existence and strength. The basic idea of the hub is to host projects spanning the arts contemplating interaction between cultures, a space for both exhibitions and training with studios, workshops, consultation and production rooms.
Flashback Art Fair, which this year will take place in November in the new space at Corso Giovanni Lanza 75, is consolidated and confirmed as a unicum on the Italian scene.
Flashback is an organic set of activities dedicated to art: from the Flashback Special Projects, which take place throughout the year, to the Flashback Art Fair, the art fair that takes place the first week of November in Turin. The project was founded in 2013 with the aim of deeply connecting different time zones: the ancient, the modern and the contemporary in its making.
