Bäckerei KULT

Bäckerei KULT is one of Basel’s best-known contemporary bakeries, founded in 2016 through a crowdfunding project and built around slow fermentation, manual production and carefully sourced local ingredients.

The bakery operates across several locations in Basel, including the original bakery in Kleinbasel and the café space at Voltaplatz in St. Johann. Alongside naturally leavened breads, the offering includes sandwiches, croissants, pastries and seasonal baked goods, with coffee sourced from small Swiss roasters.
