Bistrot Paul Bert
A benchmark for traditional French bistrot cooking, beloved by locals and visitors alike.
Bistrot Paul Bert is a family-run restaurant in Paris’s 11th arrondissement, known for its traditional French cuisine. Opened at the turn of the 21st century, the three-room bistro retains a classic character, with chalkboard menus, mosaic-tiled floors, antique mirrors and white-aproned staff.
The menu follows the seasons and includes dishes such as sweetbread feuilleté with mushrooms, roast venison with cranberries and celeriac purée, white asparagus, côte de bœuf for two and steak au poivre. Desserts include soufflé and Paris-Brest with praline buttercream. The wine list focuses primarily on French wines, with a selection of natural wines, drawn from a cellar of more than 500 labels.
