Café
Taveggia 1909
Originally founded by Fermo Taveggia, Taveggia 1909 is a historic café and pastry shop in central Milan. It moved to its current location in 1930 and quickly became a popular meeting place for the city’s professional and cultural circles. Recently restored and reopened in 2022 under the same management as Gamberini 1907 in Bologna, the space preserves its elegant character, with marble surfaces, wood panelling and a classic bar counter that reflects its early 20th-century origins.
The offering runs throughout the day, from breakfast pastries and coffee to aperitivo, alongside a selection of sweet and savoury items and light bistro dishes.
