Al Bicerin

Founded in 1763 opposite the Santuario della Consolata, Al Bicerin is where the historic Turinese drink was invented, and the café has carried its name ever since, jealously guarding the original recipe. The bicerin descends from the bavareisa, a drink much in vogue in the eighteenth century, made with coffee, chocolate, milk and syrup and served in large glasses.
