Café
Caffè Mulassano
Nestled under the porticoes of Piazza Castello, Caffè Mulassano is one of Turin’s most charming historic cafés. Dating back to the late 19th century, it quickly became a gathering place for the city’s aristocracy and intellectuals, admired for its Art Nouveau interiors of marble, bronze, and gilded wood. It serve coffees, hot rich chocolate, sandwiches and cakes on silver pedestals at a leisurely pace – and it is said to be the birthplace of the tramezzino, the classic Italian sandwich. A perfect place to while away time and absorb the elegant atmosphere.
