Volkshaus Basel – Brasserie and Imi Bar
Volkshaus Basel houses one of the city’s best-known brasserie and bar concepts, forming the gastronomic core of the historic Volkshaus hotel in Kleinbasel. Redesigned by Herzog & de Meuron, the space combines a large brasserie, cocktail bar and courtyard into a lively all-day meeting place.
The Brasserie serves seasonal European classics for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a grand but relaxed dining room. The adjacent Imi Bar focuses on cocktails, wine, coffee and aperitivo. In warmer months, the courtyard and beer garden extend the atmosphere outdoors, reinforcing the social, cosmopolitan character of the project.
