Bird is an intimate neighbourhood bar where music and cocktails share the spotlight. Designed with acoustics in mind, the space features sound-absorbing walls, materials and panels that allow music played on vinyl through custom-built speakers to remain clear and immersive without overwhelming the bar’s warm, relaxed atmosphere.

Jazz lies at the heart of Bird’s identity — its name pays tribute to one of the genre’s great icons — but the musical selection extends well beyond it, moving freely across decades and genres. Each week, local record collectors and Danish and international selectors take over the decks, bringing their own approach to the bar’s extensive vinyl collection.

The cocktail programme takes a contemporary approach to classic bartending, combining established techniques with playful flavours and a strong focus on spirits. All drinks on the menu are pre-batched and bottled in-house to ensure consistency and precision, while fresh citrus and added sugar are used sparingly. The menu changes regularly, with new creations introduced each month.

Where possible, Bird works with local producers and suppliers, while its selection of spirits draws more widely on distilleries chosen for their quality, tradition and suitability for the cocktail programme.
