Claridge’s

Claridge’s is a 5 star luxury hotel located in the heart of Mayfair, London.

Claridge’s has stood on Brook Street in Mayfair since the nineteenth century. Its red-brick building dates from 1898, and between 1929 and 1931 the architect Oswald Milne added the Art Deco entrance, ballroom and wing that still define its style. The rooms and suites move between Victorian, Art Deco and contemporary interiors. In the Foyer, where afternoon tea is served, a glass sculpture by Dale Chihuly hangs from the ceiling. The hotel has three bars, among them the Fumoir, open since 1929, and The Painter’s Room, finished in pale pink onyx with a mural by Annie Morris. The restaurant, Dante Mayfair, is the London home of the Greenwich Village bar Dante and serves aperitivo-style cocktails and seasonal dishes. Below ground, the spa includes a pool designed by André Fu. On Brook’s Mews, Perrotin has opened its first London gallery, next to the Art Café run by the pastry chef Thibault Hauchard.
