Casa Pani
Situated in the peaceful yet central area of Cuauhtémoc, Casa Pani is an elegant mid-century modern home turned into a boutique guesthouse.
Originally a private house designed by pioneering Mexican architect Mario Pani, this property is a masterful expression of mid-century modernism. The vintage space has been updated respecting its authentic materials and identity. Original details, such as porthole windows, patchwork stone floors, spiraling stairs, and undulating plaster built-ins, have been well preserved.
The designer property also includes spacious common rooms for co-working and gathering, filled with incredible period design, as well as rooftop terraces, a pool, alfresco courtyards and covered patios.
The New House is set on the other side of the two outdoor patios and is connected through a covered walkway. The two houses together offer six private bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms. Guest suites feature vintage works such as a carved mahogany and glass screen by Eugenio Escudero, and custom beds designed by Miggi Hood, fabricated by local artisans in Mexico City.
In-home experiences include complimentary Oaxacan-style breakfast, in-room massage, a dipping pool designed by Hood, on-site private chef experiences, and an art concierge available for booking itineraries throughout the city.
