Located in the heart of Polanco, Kimpton Virgilio Mexico City occupies a carefully restored 1940s Art Deco landmark that reflects the neighborhood’s layered cultural history. Originally built as one of the area’s first multi-story residential buildings, the property once housed European refugees during World War II, contributing to the cosmopolitan spirit that continues to define Polanco today.

The hotel preserves its protected Art Deco façade while offering interiors that balance heritage details with contemporary design, creating a space that feels both timeless and current. Rich textures, thoughtful craftsmanship, and modern comforts characterise the 48-room boutique hotel, designed to offer an intimate and refined stay.

Guests can enjoy two on-property dining venues. Led by Chef Carlos Soto, Pepe Mesa Española offers a contemporary interpretation of Iberian cuisine, while the rooftop terrace hosts La Caña, a relaxed social space inspired by Latin American flavours and overlooking the pool.
