Founded in 2014 by European entrepreneur Yves Naman, the property was born from a desire to combine the soul of a boutique hotel with the standards of true luxury hospitality. What began as two single-floor suites has evolved into an eight-suite residence, with each suite occupying its own floor and featuring a distinct design identity. Carefully curated interiors blend regional craftsmanship, antiques, and contemporary details, transforming the hotel into a gallery-like retreat.
Expanded in 2023 with additional leisure spaces, La Valise has preserved its original spirit, balancing Mexican tradition with contemporary aesthetics. Since 2022, the hotel has been a proud member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, reinforcing its commitment to exceptional, design-driven hospitality.
