Nolinski Paris
The Nolinski Paris is a hotel of classic French luxury. Just a stone's throw from the Louvre, the fashionable rue Saint-Honoré and the beautiful gardens of the Palais-Royal.
A few steps from the Comédie-Française, rue Saint-Honoré and the gardens of the Palais-Royal, Nolinski Paris occupies a Haussmann building on avenue de l'Opéra. It opened in 2016 as the first hotel of the Evok Collection and favours a discreet kind of luxury: interior architect Jean-Louis Deniot reworked the codes of classic French décor, pairing mouldings and woodwork with mirrors, bronzes, ceramics, thick rugs and bold blocks of colour set against shades of grey. A green Carrara marble reception desk welcomes guests, and clouds painted by hand along the grand staircase lead to the floors above.
The 45 rooms, 9 of them suites, are spread over six floors and designed as Haussmann-style apartments. Each room has its own dominant colour, from deep green to raspberry, blue and yellow, over a grey base.
The restaurant follows the tradition of the bourgeois tables of the Right Bank. Its menu revisits French classics such as pot-au-feu, roast chicken and macaroni gratin with morels, and ends with charlotte, baba and mille-feuille. Designer John Whelan echoed the 1930s Art Deco façade in the 70-cover dining room, using mirrors, gold leaf, yellow Siena marble, Versailles parquet and brass.
Le Grand Salon is the hotel's cocktail bar, serving teas and discreet lunches during the day and signature cocktails in the evening, beneath a silver-leaf ceiling and wall coverings by Florence Girette. Below ground, the Nolinski Spa myBlend combines hands-on treatments with advanced skincare technology.
