The avant-garde, neatly designed hotel, located inside the historical buildings of the Old Brewery complex exhibits art works of world renowned artists. Every single detail in this building was designed in such a way as to deliver unparalleled experiences to its guests. For its Design, in 2009 the Blow Up Hall received a Top Hotel 2009 Award for polish hotels.
The hotel has no front desk and the rooms have no numbers. Instead of a key, the guests receive an iPhone that enables them to find their rooms and obtain access. With additional information on the Blow Up Hall, the Old Brewery and Poznan’s cultural events, the iPhones serve as virtual concierges, helping the guests penetrate the urban fabric.
Michelangelo Antonioni’s Blow Up was the inspiration for this building, as well as the interactive installation by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, with which every of our guests start their journey into the Blow Up Hall.
