Il Palazzo Experimental

Il Palazzo Experimental is a boutique and design hotel set along the breezy and sun-drenched Riva delle Zattere. It features 32 individually designed rooms, most of which are double rooms, along with a single suite offering rooftop views over the city.

Set within a historic Venetian palazzo, the rooms enjoy a variety of outlooks, from the Canal della Giudecca and the hotel’s quiet inner garden to the surrounding neighborhood. Each room is thoughtfully designed by Dorothée Meilichzon and filled with natural light whenever possible, drawing inspiration from iconic Venetian elements such as terrazzo floors and striking marble accents.

Located in the Dorsoduro district, the hotel sits slightly away from Venice’s main tourist paths, yet within walking distance of landmarks such as the Galleria dell’Accademia and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. It is the perfect setting to explore the city at a relaxed pace, wandering through its most authentic and charming streets.
