La Banchina

Set directly on Copenhagen’s harbour, La Banchina is a relaxed waterfront spot open throughout the year, from summer afternoons on the dock to colder winter days indoors. The atmosphere is deliberately informal: there are no reservations, guests order at the bar and find a seat either inside or by the water.

The kitchen serves simple, seasonal food prepared with 100% organic Danish produce and sustainably caught fish. The menu changes daily according to what is fresh and available, closely following the Danish seasons and placing local ingredients at the centre of the experience. Its combination of unfussy cooking and a distinctive harbour setting makes La Banchina as much a place to spend time by the water as it is a restaurant.
