Fishmarket

The Fishmarket has been offering one of Abu Dhabi’s most distinctive seaside dining experiences since 1989. Set along a quiet stretch of beach within the InterContinental Abu Dhabi, it features a central market-style counter where the day’s freshest seafood and vegetables are displayed on ice. Guests simply choose their ingredients and preferred preparation, then watch as Chef Sawai and his team transform them into personalized, flavor-driven dishes.

The culinary approach draws inspiration from across the Mediterranean and Asia, with new additions including grilled seabass dressed with a thyme “za’atar” twist, red snapper in a green curry sauce, and weekly specials that highlight Emirati tastes.
